Welcome!

The Fresh Anointing is a Catholic ecumenical, Spirit-filled community of young adults of college age, 20's, and 30's who meet together for:

Join Us!

We meet on the second and fourth Friday nights of the month at 7:30pm for praise and worship and to enjoy the company of old and new friends. We invite you to pray, learn, and grow with us; and discover a beautiful, exciting life filled with the Holy Spirit whose presence has been cherished by Christians since the beginning of Christianity. People new to the DC area are warmly welcomed.

We start with praise and worship, and then move into a period of silent prayer and reflection. Some will sense God giving a message of encouragement, exhortation, or consolation for the group, and may share it. There is usually a short talk, a time for prayer ministry, and fellowship.

We meet at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Margo Hall in the Brookland neighborhood of DC ("Little Rome").  We also gather to welcome the Lord's Day with suppers, participate in the sacramental life of the Church, encourage one another in our vocations and discernment, and attend conferences, retreats, and other special events.  Please check this website for announcements.

Words and Teachings

Men's Group

The Fresh Anointing men's faith group meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month (tentatively) at 7:30pm in Arlington, VA. We gather for prayer, discussion, encouragement, and support, to listen, and to share wisdom and questions.  Group meetings include discussion on a book we are reading, praying for each other by the laying on of hands, and fellowship as brothers in Christ. Please email us for more information or visit us on Facebook.
